The aluminum front rack is mounted directly to the frame, instead of to the handlebars. That way, the weight of your luggage is carried by the frame, making your bike much more stable while riding and while standing still.
Of course the rack is painted in the same color as your bicycle, and it is tested to carry at least 33 lbs.
