Great bike – A few complications – Great customer service (verified owner) –
The Good:
– The bike is everything I wanted it to be, and even looks better in person than on the site! The fenders match the frame color, which I wasn’t expecting but was pleasantly surprised by.
– Shipping was quick for being all the way from the Netherlands, expected window was 3-4 weeks of production, 1-2 weeks of shipping, and it arrived in about 4.5 weeks (of the total 4-6 week window). Everything arrived in good condition.
– Customer service is phenomenal, seriously just ask if you want to know anything and they will help guide you to the right bike. Do note that the customer service is in NL as well, so it’s pretty much email them during the day, and you will wake up with a response tomorrow =)
The Mixed:
– Assembly. I ordered two bikes, one was a super straightforward setup, and the second looked like it must have missed the final quality control check. Everything major was there, but it was missing a few minor clips and the front wheel stabilizer bolt. A few nuts weren’t tightened, just put on the end of their respective bolts. Still a functional bike once I was done, but not as straightforward as the assembly video on the website for that one.
The Bad:
– I ordered only one suspension seat post and otherwise identical bikes, and both bikes arrived with the standard seat post.
I’m still giving five stars despite the issues because customer service was always right there to get things fixed up. They quickly shipped out a replacement seat post and the clips/bolts that were missing. I initially added the adjustable handlebars to my order and they informed me that this model comes with them already and just refunded that portion of the order without me having to do anything. They even refunded another option that I had chosen (skirt guards) that didn’t end up fitting on the bike.
Also a note related to installing the handlebars on this bike, there’s some additional bolts that need to be tightened other than just the stem in order to prevent the handlebars from rotating that aren’t shown in the assembly video. Make sure to tighten those before you take your bike out for a ride!
