The design of our elegant Carolina is based on the Dutch master ‘Oma Fiets’, that was first seen cruising the canals in the 19th Century.
Classic design is timeless, so we’ve changed little except that it’s built with modern-day technology. The Carolina is a comfortable, every day bike that’s a respectful nod to tradition. Very high quality and a joy to ride.
Finishing assembly very easy with 2 people. I went with the 7 speed but have quickly determined the top 2 gears are not very practical unless that day u have opted for the life of a speed cyclist (and they are definitely good if u need to get somewhere fast).
On future bikes I will likely decide the 3 speed is plenty. The order process is also great and ABC is very responsive and good at keeping you informed.

First the process of buying the bike was easy through Amsterdam. Everyone was helpful and answered my question through email in a timely manner. Shipping was straight foward with FedEx tracking, I could always see where my bike was. Amsterdam was again helpful with questions and suggestions on how to assemble the bike. The bike is very smooth and fun to ride – verysmooth. I ordered the suspension seat post for mine and I believe I sit a little high for my height (Amsterdam did warn me about this, I should have listened). I am pleased with the overall experience.
