Azor Carolina – Gents
The design of our elegant Carolina is based on the Dutch master ‘Opa Fiets’, that was first seen cruising the canals in the 19th Century.
Classic design is timeless, so we’ve changed little except that it’s built with modern-day technology. The Carolina is a comfortable, every day bike that’s a respectful nod to tradition. As with all our bikes it’s hand made (in Holland) with exceptional materials, delivering the durability, strength and reliability that only the best Dutch bikes are known for, throughout the cycling world.

The Carolina bike is a typical classical Dutch gents bike, but unlike the ones I grew up riding on in the Netherlands, this has a great Shimano Nexus 7 gear option to make conquering the hills in New Jersey a little easier. The upright riding position means no pressure on your wrists or back, and allows for comfortable around the town drives with the kids.
On day one, I immediately got stopped by people in town asking where this “retro” bike came from, and I ensured them there is nothing “retro” about this bike!!
